The Sun Temple of Konark is the finest example of Kalinga architecture. This is one masterpiece combining all the varieties of this type of architecture. Each inch of the temple and its subsidiary shrines is decorated with fantastic designs and carvings. The main shrine has been damaged and broken down long ago by the army of a Mughal General. Archaeological Site Museum

This museum is established in 1968 and becomes the house of excavations and the fallen sculptures from the sun temple. The museum has four galleries for sculptures, paintings, manuscripts, and various fallen parts from the Konark Sun temple.

Ramchandi Temple

The temple is located near the Kushabhadra river and the main deity of the temple is the Goddess Ramachandi. It is also a wonderful picnic spot and filled with a verity of bird species and pleasant views, which you can't exclude from your in and around Konarkplaces to visit.

Kuruma

Kuruma is a Buddhist site, known for its excavation. The origin of the site is dated to be between the 8th-9th century AD. It is a wonderful place, you must visit with friends and family.

Ashtanga
