Cuttack- this city won't let you rest.



The millennium city (because of a history of 1000 years ),Cuttack,the former capital of odisha is a land surrounded by four rivers- Mahanadi, Kathajodi, Kuakhaiand and Birupa.Being too old hasn’t deprived its development. Rising along with the capital Bhubaneshwar, these two cities are now referred as “twin city”. The evidence of history still exist in Cuttack , the BARABATI FORT, which lead to the initialization of this city and hence forth the name KATAK- literal meaning fort.



The Barabati stadium, Netaji’s Birth Memorial, Odisha Maritime Museum, Maa Chandi temple, Dhabaleswar Temple, Jama Masjid , Qadam-I-Rasool Mosque, Daatan Sahib Gurdwara, Holy Rosary Church and Baptist Church are the integral part of Cuttack tourism. Each festival is celebrated with a spirit of respect and regard for each other and thats why people take pride in calling it- The city Of Brotherhood.



Freedom Fighter's Memorial, Annapurna Theatre, Ocean World( Amusement park),Deer park, Barabati Fort, Ravenshaw university are some of the places to visit in Cuttack.One can enjoy boat ride along the Birupa river, stroll around on the Jobra Park on the edge of Jobra Barrage, and have extremely delicious and variety of street foods.Cuttack tours is also attractive for sliver filigree work (jewelry) and it is a major shopping hub with all kinds of things available  at a cheaper price. Travel with all your energy because this city wont let you rest.
